  1. Why do I need to go to Open Day?

Well, choosing a university can sometimes be tricky but Deakin Open Day gives you a glimpse into what it’s like to be a student. Plus, there’s heaps of fun stuff, free entertainment and great food between the information sessions.

  2. How do I get the most out of Open Day?

Talk to us! Our staff and students are able to advise you on courses, how to apply, what extra entry requirements you might need. We'll also give you lowdown on university life while you roam around and get a feel for the campus.

  3. How do I find the right people to speak to?

Don't worry, they're easy to find. The General Information Stand, and the Career and Course Information Centre, are your first stops. That’s where you’ll find all the information you need on courses, including postgraduate studies. If you need an Auslan interpreter this is also the place to ask.

  4. What questions should I ask?

Think about what you’re interested in and if you want to study full time, part time, on campus or online. Then ask us how that translates into a course, what the entry requirements are or how it can lead to a career. If you need some help thinking about your options, then you can kickstart your course and career exploration with our new Explore App.

  8. How do I know what to go and see?

Take a look at our extensive Open Day Planner and save the sessions that interest you to your personal Open Day Plan. This means you’ll have a plan for your day and won’t miss anything important. And if you need more help, we'll have all the answers at the Course and Career Information Centre.
