Of course there will be heaps of helpful information sessions about studying at Deakin. That’s a given. But university is so much more than the course you choose to study. Visit one of our campuses to get a taste of real life at Deakin. If that doesn’t satisfy you, there’s always the food trucks.
With free wifi available on all campuses, make sure you share your best Open Day moments with us.
Well, picking a university can be pretty tricky. Deakin Open Day gives you a glimpse into what it’s like to be a student. Plus there’s heaps of fun stuff to do to break up the information sessions. Did we mention the food trucks?
It's a good thing you asked. Talk to people, especially Deakin staff and current students - they'll be able to advise you on courses, how to apply, what extra entry requirements you might need and give you the lowdown on university life. It's also nice to just roam around and get a feel for the campus.
Don’t worry, they won’t be hard to find. The General Information stand and the Career and Course Information Centre will be your best bet. They’ll be brimming with staff eager to pass on any course info you want to know, including postgraduate studies.
Need an Auslan interpreter? That General Information stand we mentioned can help you out.
Ask yourself what you’re interested in and if you want to study full time, part time, on campus or online. Then ask us how you can translate that to a university course, what the entry requirements are or how it can lead to the job you want. We’ll also happily give directions to the food trucks.
